The Volvo XC40 has been named Best Compact Crossover of the Year at the 2019 Irish Car of the Year awards, in association with Continental Tyres.
A true urban crossover, the Volvo XC40 features City Safety which identifies other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals ahead, as well as technology features including a centre touch screen for high-res driver display and voice control; that understands normal speech.
The Volvo XC40 emerged the winner from a category that also included the BMW X2, Dacia Duster, Jeep Compass and Jaguar E-pace.
The award for 2019 Compact Crossover of the Year was presented at this evening’s Irish Car of the Year awards, which took place at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin.
