Ford Focus is Irish Small/Compact Car of the Year

The new Ford Focus has been named Best Small / Compact Car of the Year at the 2019 Irish Car of the Year awards, in association with Continental Tyres.
The new Focus features an array of driver technology including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go centring and Active Park Assist 2, as well as smart safety technology including Active Braking and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection. The car is available with a range of fuel-efficient engines.
The Ford Focus came out on top of a highly competitive category that also included the Kia Ceed, Mercedes A Class, Volkswagen Polo and Subaru Impreza.
The 2019 Irish Small / Compact Car of the Year award was presented at this evening’s Irish Car of the Year awards event, which took place at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin.
